Accommodations at the Copper Center Lodge

Copper Center Lodge is unique with it’s part in the history of the Copper Valley. We realize that different individuals are looking for different experiences while traveling through our fabulous state and would like to be upfront about the accommodations in our historic building. The original rooms were without bathrooms and shared one set of common restrooms. Later bathrooms were added to the existing rooms. Some of the rooms share a bath between two rooms and some have private baths. Adding private baths made the already small rooms a little smaller.

Our rooms are small and quaint, decorated with homemade quilts, antique desks, and comfy bedding.  While laying in bed, one can imagine the activities and experiences the gold rush participants gained in this beautiful spot of Alaska. We are an historic lodge not a modern facility. If you are looking to experience true Alaska and it’s wonderful history, then this is the place to stay. Below are some pictures of some of our rooms. It is difficult to take pictures of the rooms due to the size but want you to have an idea of what we are like.
